The fenced-in compound has some unassuming surface buildings, but the vast majority of the facility is underground—hiding it from prying eyes, and limiting the escape of anything hazardous. Concentric rings of containment to prevent breaches of biological or chemical vectors. And by “vectors”, I mean, don’t ask. Trust me, you don’t want to know.
