Operarius Rituals
- The ritual of Sleep / Death
- Phoenix Technicians and priests conduct a ritual to transfer the brain of a living person into the Core-Tex unit, also referred to as “The Tab”, tabernacle or tabernāculum (latin)
- the receptacle the Core-Tex rests in is called the Sanctum.
- A column of Sanctums is called a Sanctuary. Sanctums and Sanctuaries have section numbers and individual numbers to identify and locate them.
- The sanctum holes are circular, and outside golden rays radiate away from it, a symbolic of receiving the favor of god or radiating their own holy spirit.
- The ritual of Rebirth / Apotheosis
A the person passes, rows of robed figures turn to face her.
the individual awakes in the Operarius body.
The body is naked, praying in front of an alter to Columbia.
Columbia is not represented as a warrior here, but as a full goddess in a peplos (Greek robe worn by women in ancient Greece).
Columbia presents them with the two stone tablets of Strength and Knowledge.
The Phoenix bible or “The Conservatory” or “Green Book” is resting on the alter below Columbia
The newly risen Opo turns and walks out of the holy of holies, a dome-like garden room, with a circular platform (they wake on) which is surrounded by a pool of water. On the other side of the pool is the garden, and beyond that is the outer wall–made of glass and a lattice of gold. The dome glass is transparent and a the person can see out into a scenic landscape.
Walking out of the sanctum sanctorum, they emerge into a narrow hallway filled with paintings of the holy philosophers, and murals of Columbia and her holy warriors or angels.
At the far end of the hallway is a mirror-like doorway, where the person can see themselves reflected, naked with their powerful new body.
The door is a mercury-like liquid metal that they must walk through without knowing what’s on the other side.
The person emerges into a large chamber, a temple.
A large group of people are gathered, wearing dark robes and facing away from the person.
