Description:
“The Phoenix Expendables” – A team of highly-skilled, burned agents given an ultimatum. Everyone on the team committed a crime punishable by death. Phoenix will let them live if they carry out missions that most consider suicide. They must enter “containment sites” (Phoenix black sites, forbidden, highly experimental) that have been purposely sealed because of some catastrophic event. There, they must accomplish some objective: rescue a trapped VIP, obtain important documentation, equipment or an artifact. They may have to finish destroying or sealing a facility, or track down someone or something that escaped containment.

Uniform: Black Coveralls with individualized tool belts and backpacks

How They became a member: A botched job, and millions of dollars lost as well as several priceless artifacts.
The Engineer: Technical Expert
Background: A former HADES construction technician familiar with Phoenix’s facilities and their quirks.
Why They Join: They may have had a hand in building these facilities and feel responsible for recovering lost research.
Skillset: Structural analysis, machinery repair, and hacking.
The Biohazard Specialist: Field Scientist
Background: A biologist or virologist recruited for their knowledge of dangerous biological agents.
Skillset: Expertise in containment protocols, chemical analysis, and antidote development.

Background: A shadowy figure with a background in espionage or black ops.

The Cynic: Historian or Archivist
Background: A disillusioned historian hired to recover or decipher lost documents and data.

The Wildcard: Rogue Operative
Background: A former Phoenix agent gone rogue but brought back for their unique skills or knowledge of a specific site.

The Scavenger: Survivalist
Background: A loner who has survived in post-disaster zones and is recruited for their ability to thrive in hostile environments.
Skillset: Resourcefulness, scavenging, and navigating dangerous terrain.
The Medic: Combat Doctor
Background: A trauma surgeon or combat medic who specializes in keeping people alive in the worst conditions.

Background: A subject from one of Phoenix’s early experiments, retained as a unique asset for their extrasensory abilities.
