Factions: PHOENIX Rivals
These organizations are sworn enemies of PHOENIX, and take direction action against it and its personnel. They rarely work together, however.
A highly organized and well financed paramilitary organization. Staffed by ex-military, intelligence agency and law enforcement members. They also tap Silicon Valley and elite universities for top technical talent. It’s rumored that there quite a few former PHOENIX agents in its ranks.
Lantern Protocol, or simply Lantern, is a grass-roots organization made up of concerned citizens. They are loosely organized, but have some highly motivated and skilled members.
While not as well-financed as Black Star, they have some wealthy patrons who find clever ways to provide funding.
The name is a reference to Paul Revere’s Revolutionary War lantern.
